This post is hard to write.

I have been away for over two weeks in the UK. My Mum was very ill and my original plans had been to be with her and help nurse her back to more stable health and just be there for her if she needed anything. I had done this before and was hoping to be able to do it again.

Sadly Mum’s health developed unexpected and terminal complications. She deteriorated rapidly before I could get to her, and she died while I was in the check in queue for my flight back to see her. I had to say goodbye over a mobile phone line, rather than personally, and that wasn’t how it should have been for either of us.

As you can imagine, making money online has not been uppermost in my thoughts over the last two weeks. Instead, I have had a funeral to arrange and legal matters to sort out, not to mention trying to hold the family together when we were all in shock. My Mum had had a degenerative illness, but her tenacity had given us all (including her doctors) false hope that she would overcome setbacks and ’soldier on’ for a fairly long time.

Sadly that wasn’t to be.

I am now back home for a while, although I will have to go back to the UK later to sort out the rest of the legal stuff. So, whether I want to or not, I have to update my websites, build new ones, and try to continue to grow my little ‘money making empire’.

But I have come back to chaos. My adult blogs and sites are still making money, as most of them were on auto, or established enough not to matter if a few posts were missing, but the newer blogs and sites I had set up in mainstream areas have been doing almost nada for me while I was in the UK, as they were all still in various stages of development (I like to take things slow and build new blogs and sites reasonably naturally). They are, however, now out of the sandbox, so they need urgent work to get them onto G’s page one or as near as possible.

So, I have my work cut out, but am not yet in the right frame of mind to tackle it. Nevertheless, I have no choice but to continue with trying my very best to make money on the internet, as this is my work. Without it, we wouldn’t be able to pay our bills.

I do, however have a ‘money making plan of action’ (hastily scribbled on the flight back to take my mind off of flying) and over the next few days I will be setting this plan out. I may well post it here. It will prompt me to follow it if nothing else!

As to thoughts on making money on the internet and all the good guys and scammers out there, well, a quick scan through emails and sites has shown that both are still out there and that the guys I have recommended so far still hold true.

You never know, I may post about a few more ‘good guys and bad guys’ soon. But for now, it’s really down to work with a vengeance.

Once I can get my money making head together again…
