Writing my thoughts on how to make money on the net, and trying to sort out ideas and tools which work from those which do not, is quite time consuming. This is not only because I tend to write a lot, but also because, once I get hooked into something, I want to find out more about it, so that I can provide a reasonable post which considers as many angles as possible.

And if I have made a post which leads to comments, I like to consider those too, so that I can make a thoughtful reply. After all, if someone takes the time to make a comment on my blog, they deserve that I take their comments seriously.

When I set up this blog, not that long ago, it was one of a number I set up with new or unused domain names. This one in particular was just to make use of an ‘adult’ domain name which I never got around to using. As such, it was never designed to be a social blog; just somewhere to state my views.

However, when I saw that Thoughts on How to Make Money on the Net was getting some interest, I thought it best to decide quickly the way I wanted it to go.

I wanted it to help people just beginning to make a living on the internet and warn them of possible ways they could lose money and, at the same time, give my opinion on what I think could be better ways they might like to choose.

As a result, I talk a lot about scammers and ‘watching your back’ when you try to make money online. Nevertheless, I am always open to alternative views and welcome them. None of us have the answers to everything and it is always great to learn new ways to look at anything. This is why, even if I have posted something which you feel is detrimental to your blog or site, I am very happy to listen to your views. I will take them seriously and will post further information to cover this, if I think the point made is a reasonable one.

I am pleased that this blog has engendered some interest not only because I want people to know that there are ways to make money online without being scammed, but also because it is getting some great comments from a variety of bloggers. I like intelligent conversation and there is real intelligent thought going into a lot of the comments here.

All that is good.

However, as I said at the start, it is also very time consuming, especially when I have to make a living on the internet myself.

This blog arrived on the scene at around the same time as three other major blogs of mine (two of which I also post to on a regular basis and one which is rapidly needing further work). I say ‘major’ in the sense that they require thoughtful posts which are specific to their niche and which (I hope) will make them major players in future months.

As well as these, I have hundreds of adult blogs to maintain and new landing pages which I build on a daily basis.

Plus, I have a full blown mainstream website and community to set up, which, if handled right, could not only become a ‘labour of love’, but a very profitable venture. I am very excited about it.

By now, you may well have guessed where this post is ending up…

I am going to take a few days break from Thoughts on How To Make Money on The Net. I’ll still be here to answer comments, but I am forcing myself not to make any more posts for a short while. I say ‘forcing’, because every day I find new things I want to talk about on this blog, so not posting about them will be like putting a gag over my mouth (which some people may like…)

I will definitely be back. This blog may have a strange first name and not be much to look at. Hell, it hardly makes me any money either! But it’s become my sort of ‘home on the net’. However, for the next few days, I really need to get down to organising the blogs and sites which do make me money online as opposed to the one which I enjoy writing and communicating on.

Such is ‘life’ on the net.

See you soon :)
